The Power Rangers: The Official Movie Novel was for me a disappointing read and overpriced.When I read a movie novelization I want to read an expansion on the movie, using the text-medium to express or explain things that are not easily observed through a movie. Thoughts and feelings explained to help create understanding of motivation, or fluff material about their world to expand it and feel more real. However this book reads more like a script that has been converted to book format.There are some minor differences. A line here, a thought there, and a single page explaining that Zach likes to hop around moving trains. Otherwise 98% of the book can be experienced through the movie. However that is a problem because the movie was meant to be expressed as a movie and without the little things to help immerse yourself into the movie the book is a pale shadow.In all I just do not think this book is worth $7+tax, especially if you’ve already seen the movie.
This novel was wonderful! The text highlighted plenty of moments that were not seen in the movie, further clarifying certain scenarios. The text did, however, also remove certain scenes as well. Nevertheless, the read was very fun and pleasant, offering the same action-packed nostalgia that the movie did. I highly recommend. I'm even assigning this as a required reading for one of my classes I'm teaching!

My son loves the Power Rangers. This book was a great accompaniment to the movie.
You do not have to have a morpher, No because everytime this book is picked up It's Morphin Time.
Includes a few things left out of the movie and combined with the movie gives more story to this movie
Excellent book
This was super fun to read! I normally wouldn't read a novelization before I see the film but I couldn't help myself cause I was getting major nostalgia from just reading the sample of this on my kindle. I Read the first two chapters and I was so hooked. It was very fun to read the origins of this story and really liking the fact that these kids were kids "with attitude" and not such role models as it was in the tv show. Really hoping this film gets a sequel so we can see Tommy!
