Essential. As a filmmaker, I needed to grow in my understanding of color, and this was the book that changed everything. I no longer have one favorite color. Just favorite color combinations. The book is beautiful, with quality images of his artwork. His works translate very well to this format. And while there is nothing like seeing a painting in person, this makes it very clear for the reader how important this artist is.
