I am a psychiatrist who teaches physician assistant students. This book is hands down the best one out there for teaching psychopharmacology. The reading is interesting, provides the perfect level of detail (*everything* you need to know, without getting bogged down with unnecessary detail), and the mnemonics for just about every drug are extremely time-saving (i.e. you don't have to come up with your own mnemonics when studying!) I strongly recommend this. Lastly, it was published in 2017 so it is extremely up to date (unlike the texts I used in my own psychiatry residency program, which have not been updated since 2008!) Thank you, Dr. Heldt, for making my teaching job so much easier!

There are lots of great ideas to help me remember important points, although some of the information may be a little basic
Out of all the psychopharmacology review books I own, this is the BEST! I appreciate how the author reviewed all of the major drug classes and created accompanying mnemonics and "high-yield" concept boxes. In my opinion, this is a "must have" book for anyone in the behavioral healthcare field, not just prescribers.
Best book ever to help understand and memorize psychopharmacology! I am a nursing instructor and will be including many of the mneumonics in this book in my lessons! Great job!
