This is the 3rd time I've bought this book. Every time I show a friend how to use a pendulum, I also show them this book & compare what they just did with the info printed. They always want a copy. There are very detailed charts in this book, but this book offers more = pendulum swing patterns; a pendulum will swing in different ways depending the object under it. It will move in 1 direction over the left leg & the opposite direction over the right. The diagrams are easy to follow & will show you different patterns to expect depending what your pendulum is made out of; small or wide circles & ovals, straight lines or diagonal lines. Just try out your pendulum over a particular metal, paper or body part, then look it up in the book - I almost guarantee your results will be the same. I'm not into hocus pocus parlor tricks - I need to know that some things can be proven & results can be duplicated by anyone with focus. Physics is magical & if you are really seeking the 'Truth', you need to know our Universe has created patterns & pathways for you to follow. This book doesn't take away the magic - it proves the magic is real.
I have read many pendulum books. This little book was quite different. The author has developed a series of patterns for the swing of the pendulum that relates to minerals, health issues, etc., that can change depending on the type of pendulum used. These patterns are illustrated and explained in the beginning of the book. I am not sure if the author was aiming for the beginner or advanced because the explanations in the beginning of the book are short and to the point, but quite different from what I am use to on pendulum instruction. Nevertheless, it was quite interesting to see a new view on the application and deciphering of pendulum movements.The chart section had some basic but really neat charts that I could see being quite useful for a person interested in the field of natural healing. Although many charts focused on things such as relationship compatibility, holiday decisions, job decisions, etc., for the most part the majority of the charts related to health issues such as sore throat and specific organs of the body with multiple choices of herbal remedies. I found this very very interesting.It is obvious that the author has a background in herbal medicine and I thought it a great idea to have a set of charts of this nature. I will be adding this book to my library of pendulum charts for further use.
A good little book. I's hoped it was more complete, as I do have a very comprehensive book with similar information. But it is a good book and probably excellent for a beginning/intermediate dowser.
The book arrived quick. It has a number of charts for the pendulum that are mostly for health which I wasn't looking for but are handy. I like the face that the charts are not circular and are half circles. It makes it easily to read. The circular charts can be difficult.
This is a small book, but full of nifty charts. A little tricky to use, since they are in a bound volume and often have very narrow slots to hold the pendulum over, but have never found anything else like it. For those who enjoy pendulums, this is a useful tool.
