Overall this book seems very comprehensive. It looks like it will be a great book to learn from. My problem is that I am doing this as a self-study course. (I already have several years billing experience, but need to learn so much more.) Not until I actually got the book and unwrapped it did I read that answers to Coding Exercised, Claims Completion Exercises, and Chapter Reviews are only available from your instructor. Also the workbook that goes with this edition has no answers either. It would have been better if the book description mentioned this information up front BEFORE I decided to purchase it. I have been in contact with publisher and a sales rep. to see what they could do to help. Publisher rep. was nice but couldn't help me. Still waiting for local sales rep. to answer my inquiry. I have debated as to whether to return these and get something different. Still unsure, but I do feel this is the most up-to-date book on the subject, so I may just try to muddle through and see what I can do. If you are in a real classroom with an instructor or taking the class through AAPC, then I think this will be a great book/workbook. If you are doing this on your own, you are, so it seems, kinda out of luck.
This book does not have all of the information or subjects needed to pass the CPB exam from the AAPC. It only has a fraction of the topics that are to be covered on the exam.
Book arrived as advertised and on time.
Pages missing. Not the same info or layout as the ebook provided by school. I was getting low grades and zeroes for incomplete or incorrect work.
