The book is interesting and uses creative ways to explan risk. The book was damaged when it arrived but customer service worked with me to resolve this issue. I enjoyed the book and was satisfied overall with my experience.
Definitley recommend reading this book if you are entering the field of Forensic Psychology. Easy to read and understand.
J.Reid Meloy sets the standard on a difficult topic to assess and understand.
I love it! it is just a little outdated, but explains in a perfectly clear and interesting manner all the major domains of a risk assessment.

Absolutely the best written book on this subject.I bought two so I can lone one out.In these trying times it is best to be knowledgeable and prepared for anything. This book has given me the insight on how to determine the behavior of people related to circumstances thus avoiding possible bad situations.A must read for parents and grandparents.
This book is mostly opinion-based. There is little to no research cited to back up anything Meloy says. I do not recommend this book, especially for a class.
Dr. Meloy presents a helpful structure for evaluating risk and also clearly describes the difficulty of violence prediction for individuals.
